Commodities data

You build the data pipelines that pull datasets into DRW's Commodities trading group so its analysts can work on them. A trading group lives on data, such as prices, volumes and the figures that drive supply and demand for commodities, which are raw materials such as oil, gas, metals and crops. Someone has to collect that data, clean it and store it where the analysts can reach it, and that is this seat, on the Commodities Data team.

At first the work is getting data to the analysts. As you gain experience it grows into helping design and build the core data infrastructure the whole group runs on.
