A strategist is a quant who sits with the trading desks rather than in a back room. This seat is in the quantitative analytics team and is a front office role, meaning it works directly for the people who make the firm money. The platform brings together analytics, data and research so that traders, researchers, analysts and risk managers can ask a question and get a usable answer. Your job is to make it something the desks cannot do without, and the aim is more revenue from AI assisted trading and research.
