Technology is at the core of how Jane Street works, and its engineers are involved in every area of the business rather than sitting behind a single product. This is an experienced hire, a permanent job for someone who already has deep experience with technology in whatever language they have used so far. You are not expected to know the firm's main language, its tools or finance when you arrive.
