Spring week

You spend three days at Standard Chartered in London learning how its corporate and investment banking business works. It is an insight programme, a short introduction for students early in their degree, not a working placement. Corporate & Investment Banking, which the bank shortens to CIB, is the part of the bank that serves companies, governments and large investors rather than members of the public.

Its main value is what comes after. Students who do well are first in line for the bank's 2028 Summer Internship Programme in London, and that internship is the usual way into a graduate job.
