What the job is
You spend a summer as a junior corporate banker, helping look after the bank's relationships with very large companies and financial institutions and the loans and services they need.
A corporate banker is a client's main contact at the bank. They learn what the client needs and bring in the rest of the bank, from loans and bonds to currency hedging and cash management. In London you are pooled across three teams, UK & Ireland Corporate Coverage, Financial Institutions Coverage and Global Subsidiary Coverage, so you see many industries and products.
