You spend a summer as a credit analyst, judging whether large companies and financial institutions can repay what Bank of America lends them.
The credit team of Bank of America's global corporate and investment bank decides how much the bank lends to large clients and on what terms, and keeps watching the loans once made. You join one of its Corporate, Financial Institutions or Leveraged Finance credit teams and work on real deliverables on the desk.
