What the job is
You spend a summer building pricing models, trading signals and data tools for a bank's traders, as a quantitative analyst in its markets business.
The Quantitative Strategies and Data Group at Bank of America uses mathematics, statistics and programming to help the sales and trading teams in Global Markets. Quants build the models that price complex derivatives, measure their risk and help traders decide when and how to trade. This is a summer associate seat, the level for people finishing a master's or similar degree.
