You spend 6 months in a London team of bankers that advises companies and governments in Central and Eastern Europe on buying, selling and financing businesses. The seat is a long term internship in the Central and Eastern European team, known as the CEE team, within Global Advisory, the part of Rothschild & Co that advises on mergers and acquisitions and on raising money. Unlike the sector teams, which follow an industry wherever the client is, this team is defined by its region, so its bankers know the owners, the buyers and the local rules across Central and Eastern Europe. Rothschild & Co calls it the 2027 Global Advisory Central and Eastern European Long Term Internship.

You are a working member of the team rather than an observer. You join live transactions and marketing work, and if the internship goes well you are considered for an offer on the following year's Graduate Programme.
