You help bankers advise companies on buying and selling businesses, as a 5 month intern in Rothschild & Co's Global Advisory division in London. Global Advisory is the firm's advisory business and its largest part.

Its bankers advise companies, governments and private equity firms on mergers and acquisitions, the buying and selling of companies, and on raising debt and equity. You are placed in one of its M&A sector teams, each covering an industry, and the firm chooses yours based on where it needs people. You work on live deals from the start.
