What the job is
You help advise companies in Central and Eastern Europe on buying, selling and merging businesses and on raising money by selling shares. This is an analyst seat in the bank's investment banking coverage team for the region. A coverage team owns the bank's relationship with clients in a region or an industry, wins the deals and then works with product teams, such as equity capital markets, to carry them out.
The seat asks for banking or corporate finance experience already, so it is a way in for someone who has done this work before rather than a first job. You also take charge of parts of each deal and oversee junior analysts.
