What the job is
You help French, Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg companies borrow money by selling bonds and arranging loans. The seat is an analyst role in the France & Benelux Corporate Debt Capital Markets team in London, part of Investment Banking within the Commercial & Investment Bank.
DCM is the part of the bank that raises debt for clients. A company that wants to borrow can sell bonds, which are loans cut into pieces that investors buy and trade. The team advises the company on when and how to borrow, what the debt should cost and how it should be shaped, then runs the sale.
