What the job is
You win and look after wealthy Saudi families as their private banker, advising them on investing, borrowing and passing on their money. The seat is a Banker in the MENAT team of the EMEA Private Banking business of J.P. Morgan in London, covering the Saudi market. A private bank looks after the money of rich individuals and families rather than companies. The banker owns the relationship with each client, finds new clients and keeps existing ones, and brings in specialists when a client needs something particular.
The title carries Associate, but the seat asks for significant experience in private banking with ultra high net worth clients from the MENAT region, so it is a seat for someone already doing this work rather than a first job. Ultra high net worth means the very richest clients a bank serves. MENAT is Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, and EMEA is Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
