What the job is
You build the software and research tools that Hudson River Trading's quantitative researchers use to find and test new trading ideas. Research engineers work very closely with the firm's Algo Developer (Quant Research) trading teams, the people who design its trading strategies. Your job is to make their research faster and to help turn their predictions into live trades, so you see how trading strategies are thought up and put to work.
