You build AI systems that help the firm's researchers and software developers work faster and take on work no one had time for. Hudson River Trading trades automatically, so much of its work is research and coding. The Applied AI team uses the newest language models and agents, which are AI programs that carry out tasks step by step on their own, to speed up that work across the firm.
