You help keep the computers that run the firm's automated trading working and fast, around the clock. Hudson River Trading's trading strategies run on its own Linux servers around the world. The Trading Systems Infrastructure team designs, builds and looks after those machines, the operating systems on them and the tools that run them. This is the junior seat in that team.

The systems need to be low latency, which means they react to market data with as little delay as possible, because in automated trading a slower machine can mean a worse price or a missed trade.
