You design and run the systems that store the huge amounts of data Hudson River Trading's researchers use to build trading strategies. You sit in the Storage team, part of the Research and Development group that builds and runs the computers, networks, data storage, operating systems and software behind the firm's trading and research around the clock.

The Storage team manages storage at exabyte scale, far more data than any single computer could hold, to support trading that relies on machine learning. Researchers cannot test an idea without fast access to that data, so the storage is part of how research gets done.
