Software developer

You write the software a trading firm runs on, from the systems that send orders to exchanges to the tools that simulate and manage its trading strategies. The seat is a full-time developer job in London for someone finishing a degree in computing, physics, maths or engineering. You sit inside a team of experienced technologists, quantitative researchers and traders, and you work across the whole stack, from hardware and software through to grid computing, which is spreading a heavy calculation across many machines at once.
