What the job is
You lead a team of engineers building an in-house storage platform, where a trading firm keeps the large amounts of data its researchers work with.
The seat is an Engineering Manager in the Basecamp Technology group at G-Research, which provides specialist engineering and shared building blocks to the firm's Research and Trade Technology groups. Your team's main project is replacing storage bought from outside suppliers with a platform of the firm's own, to cut cost and make research faster.
