What the job is
You write the software that a quantitative trading firm uses to research, test and run its trading ideas. G-Research uses maths, data and computing power to predict how global markets will move. Its researchers come up with the ideas, and engineers like you turn them into systems that work with real money. You sit in Software Engineering, working mostly in C# and Python on systems that run in the firm's own datacentres.
