You research and test options trading strategies and build the systems a proprietary trading desk relies on. You join the Quantitative Positional Trading (QPT) team as a Trading Analyst. Proprietary trading means the firm trades its own money, not clients' money.

The desk trades options on markets around the world. It works out what options should be worth, decides how to combine positions into a portfolio, and measures which ideas are making money. You help with all three, and you look after the desk's technology.
