What the job is
You help companies borrow money, advising them on how to raise new loans or replace old ones and on what terms. You join as a graduate in the Debt Advisory team. The team works for the borrower, helping it find lenders and get the best deal for buying another company, replacing existing loans or reshaping its capital structure, which is the mix of debt and shares a company is funded by.
