What the job is
You help trade products that move one for one with an index, a sector or a single share, and you write code to make that trading run better. This is Delta One trading, named because the price moves one for one with what it tracks.
You support the index, sectors and single trading team and help it make better use of its inventory, the shares and positions the bank already holds. Over time you learn to cover for senior traders and then run a trading book of your own, meaning a set of positions you are responsible for.
