You advise wealth and asset managers on the risks of handling digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies and tokenised funds, and help them build the controls to manage those risks. This is a senior consultant seat in the Non-Financial Risk Consulting team, part of Financial Services Risk Consulting at EY. The non-financial risk in the team's name means the ways a business can lose money or break rules that have nothing to do with market prices or borrowers failing to pay. A system going down, a fraud, a lost wallet key or a breach of a regulator's rule all count.

Digital assets are assets recorded on a shared digital ledger, often a blockchain, rather than in a central register. Here tokenisation means issuing a traditional asset, such as a fund unit, in that form. A stablecoin is a digital coin designed to hold a steady value against a currency. Your clients are fund managers and wealth managers who want to offer these things to their customers and need to know what could go wrong at each step and what checks will stop it.
