You advise banks and other financial firms on the risks and controls they need when they start handling digital assets such as cryptocurrencies, stablecoins and tokenised assets. The seat sits in the Non-Financial Risk Consulting team, part of Financial Services Risk Consulting at EY, and focuses on the capital markets divisions of client firms. Non-financial risk means the things that can go wrong other than losing money on a position, such as a failed process, a technology fault, fraud or a breach of a rule.

Digital assets are moving from trial projects to real products, so banks, payment firms, wealth managers and asset managers now have to decide how to issue, trade, hold and settle them safely. Your job is to help them design the governance and the controls that let them do this and satisfy their regulators.
