You start your career as a graduate analyst, helping advise technology companies and their investors when they buy, sell or raise money. Torch Partners calls this the London Graduate Scheme, and you join it with the title Graduate Analyst.

The scheme is the full-time follow on from the firm's London Summer Internship Scheme. The firm aims to fill it with interns who did well over the summer, so the internship is the main way in. You begin with a structured training programme of four weeks, then join live work for the firm's clients.
