You build and look after the software an energy company uses to record its trades in power and gas and to manage the risk in them. Systems of this kind are known as ETRM, short for energy trading and risk management.
Your main tool is OpenLink Endur, a trading platform that holds each trade from the moment it is agreed until it is settled, meaning paid for and delivered. This is a senior developer seat at Centrica Energy, serving the traders and the teams that check, measure and settle their trades.
