What the job is
You build the maths, software and AI tools that a bank's systematic investment strategies business uses to design, run and hedge its strategies. You join the IB Quants team as a Quantitative Analyst, supporting the Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) business. QIS products are investment strategies that follow fixed rules set out in advance, rather than a person's day to day choices.
The team sits within Global Markets, the part of the bank that trades with and for clients. Your work sits between quantitative analysis, software engineering and AI, turning what the people who trade, design and sell QIS products need into working tools.
