What the job is
You spend a summer helping corporate bankers look after large company clients, studying their finances and preparing the case for lending them money. Corporate banking is the part of a bank that manages its relationships with big companies. It lends to them and sells them the bank's other products, such as help raising money or managing risk.
As an intern in Corporate Banking you rotate through several industry sectors, so you see how the bank serves companies in different parts of the economy. The summer works as a long interview for a graduate place in the same business.
