Restructuring

You spend a summer helping advisers who work with companies in financial trouble, working out what has gone wrong and what can be done about it. Financial Restructuring is the part of EY that steps in when a company cannot pay its debts, or is heading that way. The team studies how the business is performing and sets out the options, such as renegotiating loans with lenders, selling parts of the business, or a formal insolvency process.

The Financial Restructuring Summer Internship lasts four weeks and starts in July 2027 in London. It is built as a route into the graduate programme in the same team and city, so the summer also works as a long interview.
