You help run deals for mining and metals companies, building the valuations and documents that let a client buy a business, sell one or raise money. This is the Associate seat in the Metals & Mining Advisory team at Evercore in London. The team advises companies that dig up and process metals and other raw materials, from bulk and base metals to precious metals and the materials used in batteries.

An associate is the rank above analyst. You run the daily work on a deal, direct and check what the analysts produce, and deal with clients yourself. The bank is paid a fee for its advice when a deal completes, rather than lending money or trading.
