You study European banks and insurers to judge how safe it is to lend to them, and use that to choose which of their bonds a fund buys and sells. This is a credit analyst job in Man Group's corporate bond team in London.

You work directly with the portfolio manager, who makes the final decisions on what the funds hold, and a senior analyst. Over time you can take full charge of finding, assessing and placing trades in the funds.
