VP and above
Vice president, director, managing director, principal and partner are the senior titles in finance, above analyst and associate. People at these levels lead teams, win and look after clients or investments, and answer for the results, and they usually have many years of experience.
A vice president in a bank is not a head of the firm, as the name might suggest. It is the rank after associate, held by the person who runs the day-to-day work on several deals at once. Directors and managing directors lead a team's client relationships and bring in the business.
Every level is listed on xlookup and shown on every row. For someone starting out, these roles are most useful as a map of where a career in a team leads.
