What the job is
You value stakes in private equity funds and companies that investors want to sell, so the team can decide whether to buy them. This is a 10 week summer internship in Strategic Partners, Blackstone's secondaries business, in London.
Investors in private equity funds normally wait many years for their money back. A secondary deal lets them sell their stake early to a buyer such as Strategic Partners. Your job is to work out what those stakes are worth.
