What the job is
You decide whether a bank should lend to large companies and on what terms, analysing their finances and negotiating the loan documents.
Before a bank lends money or trades derivatives with a company, someone independent of the salespeople must judge the risk. This seat is in the Corporates Credit team, part of the credit function of the corporate and investment bank at Bank of America, at analyst or associate level. You manage a portfolio of corporate clients and the credit decisions on them.
