You check the finances of companies being bought or sold, showing buyers what a business really earns, how much cash it ties up and what debts come off the price.
This work is called financial due diligence. The seat is a Senior Consultant in the Transaction Services team at FTI Consulting in London, which works for buyers and for sellers across a full range of industries. Your findings feed the buyer's valuation and the negotiation over price.
