You help a team that invests in other private equity funds decide which buyout funds to back, rather than buying companies directly. The internship lasts 6 months, in Paris or London, with the Buy-out Fund of funds team at Access Capital Partners. The team makes primary commitments, which means promising money to new buyout funds as they raise it, and does secondary transactions, buying existing stakes in funds from investors who want to leave early or joining deals led by the fund managers themselves.
