What the job is
You research patterns in share prices that a computer-driven fund can trade, and build them into live strategies. Cubist Systematic Strategies is Point72's systematic investing affiliate, trading equities, futures and currencies by computer. This seat is a quant researcher on a new Cubist team trading equities on mid-frequency strategies, which hold positions for days rather than seconds.
