What the job is
You spend a summer at an advisory bank that works only for banks, insurers and other financial services firms, helping on takeovers and pitches. The internship is in the London office and lasts 8 weeks.
The firm gives advice only, with no lending or trading, on M&A, capital markets and board-level questions across every part of the financial services sector. The internship is designed to teach the skills of an analyst, and top performers may be offered a permanent job.
