You help senior investors in macro or commodities trading find and test trade ideas with data and code, as a summer intern at Balyasny Asset Management in London. Macro investing bets on big economic movements such as interest rates, currencies and stock market indices, while commodities investing trades raw materials such as energy and metals.

Interns join either the Macro or the Commodities Investment Strategies and work on portfolio management, deciding what to hold and how much, directly with the senior investors who run the money.
