You help run deals where technology companies are sold, buy other firms or raise money, taking charge of parts of each deal under senior bankers. The seat is in the firm's London-based technology investment banking team.

Torch Partners wants an associate, and will also consider a senior analyst. With a seat open at either level, the firm usually decides which title to give once it has met you. An associate sits between the analysts, who build much of the numbers, and the senior bankers who win and lead the deals, so you check and steer the work as well as doing it.
