What the job is
You keep the models of a systematic investment team running, checking their data, updating them and building the tools that show how they perform. A systematic investment process is one where computer models, built on rules tested against past data, guide what the funds buy and sell. You sit in the Research Team, and your job is to keep that machinery reliable so that the people investing can trust what it tells them.
The seat mixes three jobs in one. You are part research assistant, part junior quant developer writing code, and part quantitative researcher looking for what the numbers mean.
