You help the people who sell, trade and lend securities make sure every financing trade is booked, matched and settled on time. The seat is in the Front Office Trading Services team, which supports the Client Management and Sales & Trading desks of the Execution, Financing and Clearing business. Financing here means lending and borrowing securities and cash against collateral, the assets pledged to cover a loan. The team sits close to the traders, but its job is to keep trades running smoothly once they are agreed.

The team is part of State Street Markets, the firm's research and trading arm, and supports clients in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Officer is the title, and the seat asks for some years in financial services, so it is not a first job.
