What the job is
You help buy, run and sell buildings across Europe for property funds that own them directly. In direct real estate the fund owns the buildings itself, rather than shares in property companies or loans against property. This team runs Pictet's pan-European Direct Real Estate business, which began in 2019 with its first Elevation fund, a value-add fund of 700 million euros. A value-add fund buys buildings that need work and earns its return by improving them.
A second Elevation fund closed in 2026 after raising more than 600 million euros, and a Core Plus fund of about 300 million euros was launched in 2021. A core plus fund holds steadier buildings that already earn rent and need only modest improvement. The title is Associate, and the seat asks for 2 to 4 years of private real estate experience, so it is not a first job.
