You spend a summer helping bankers who look after central banks, sovereign wealth funds and governments as clients, researching them and preparing the papers the bank needs.

This is the 2027 summer internship of the Global Corporate Banking Analyst Program, placed in the Public Sector Group. Corporate banking lends the bank's own money and sells clients financing, cash management and risk products, and a relationship lasts for years rather than for a single deal. Here the clients are state institutions, so a central bank or a sovereign wealth fund, which invests a country's savings, is as much an investor as a borrower.

Clients also include public pension funds, policy related financial institutions and international institutions. The bankers deal with each client's senior leadership, including its investment and risk managers.
