What the job is
You spend 9 weeks of summer 2027 on an investing team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in London, helping portfolio managers decide where to put clients' money. Asset management is investing other people's money for a fee. The clients here are corporations, governments, not-for-profit organisations and other investors worldwide. The programme is non-rotational, so you join one team for the whole summer and build relationships there. The seat is an Analyst on the summer internship programme.
You are placed in one of the teams, which cover alternatives, equities, ESG, fixed income, liquidity, multi-asset solutions and strategy. Each decides how to invest in a different kind of asset, or shapes the funds the firm offers.
