What the job is
You write the software that stores, cleans and serves the data an investment firm uses to research and trade its strategies. Winton invests using statistical models rather than human stock picking, so its researchers depend on reliable data and tools.
You join the Quantitative Platform team, which builds the core platforms that feed data to research and trading, plus the tools, libraries, user interfaces and programming interfaces around them. A programming interface is the agreed way one program asks another for data.
