What the job is
You run the finance and company paperwork behind a private equity firm's deals and the businesses it owns. A private equity firm raises money from investors, buys companies with it and sells them later. Its portfolio companies are the businesses it owns, and its London team needs someone to keep the books, filings and money flows of its British companies in order.
You report to the Finance Director. The seat sits between the investment team, who find and buy companies, and the back office, which makes sure every purchase is paid for, recorded and legally sound.
