You help arrange and lend the money that pays for infrastructure such as digital networks, renewable energy, transport and power, as an analyst at Goldman Sachs in London. The seat is in the Infrastructure and Real Asset Financing team, part of the Capital Solutions Group within Global Banking & Markets. The team acts as arranger, underwriter or principal lender on each deal. An arranger puts the financing package together and brings in other lenders, an underwriter commits to provide the money and takes the risk of selling it on, and a principal lender lends the bank's own money.

The team is sector and product agnostic, which means it will look at any kind of infrastructure asset and any kind of financing rather than one narrow niche.
