What the job is
You find wealthy people in the United Kingdom who want their money managed in Europe and introduce them to ABN AMRO's private banking teams on the continent. The seat is the UK Wealth Management Origination Banker, based in London, in Private Banking. Origination means winning new clients. You are the first point of contact for prospective high net worth clients, people with large sums to invest, and you hand them to the Wealth Management teams in the Netherlands, France, Germany and Belgium, who take over conversion, onboarding, booking and the ongoing relationship.
The seat is the link between the UK business and the International Private Banking platform, and its purpose is to build ABN AMRO's wealth management presence in the United Kingdom.
