What the job is
You find, assess and manage loans to infrastructure businesses for PATRIZIA's infrastructure credit funds. The seat sits in the infrastructure credit team in London, which lends to infrastructure assets such as energy, transport, water and digital networks across OECD countries, a group of mostly wealthy economies. The team focuses on high yield infrastructure debt, meaning loans that pay a higher rate of interest because they carry more risk than a standard bank loan, and it has been lending this way for 24 years. The money comes from institutional investors such as pension funds and insurers.
Associate here is a seat for someone who has already worked on deals in mergers and acquisitions, project finance or debt advisory. You take responsibility for pieces of each investment from the first look through to managing the loan once it is made, and you provide analysis to the Investment Committee, the group of senior people who approve each investment.
